Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the following mobile applications published on Google Play by the developer Moov Services ("Moov Services", "we", "us"):

• MOOV 100% Femmes Driver (package com.bemisoft.moov_driver), the app for drivers ("Driver App");
• Moov customer (package com.bemisoft.moov), the app for passengers ("Customer App").

It explains what data these apps collect, how the data is used and shared, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location data

Driver App: precise location, including when the app is in the background. When a driver switches their status to Online (available for rides), the Driver App collects the device's precise location (GPS) continuously, including when the app is closed or not in use. A persistent notification is shown during this time. We collect this data to:

• show the driver's position to nearby passengers and dispatch ride requests to the closest available driver;
• let the passenger follow the driver's arrival and the trip in real time;
• calculate trip routes, distance and fare.

Location collection stops as soon as the driver goes Offline or logs out. No location is collected while the driver is Offline. The driver is asked for permission, with an explanation, before any location is collected, and can revoke it at any time in the device settings. Without it, the driver cannot receive ride requests.

Customer App: precise location, while the app is in use only. When you use the app, the Customer App reads your device's current precise location to suggest your pickup address and show nearby drivers. It is collected only while the app is open (foreground) and never in the background. You can refuse this permission and type your address manually instead.

The pickup, destination and route locations of each trip are stored with the trip record on our servers.

1.2 Personal and account information

• Phone number, used to create the account and verify your identity with a one-time code (OTP) through Firebase Authentication.
• Name, email address and profile photo, if you provide them.
• Driver App only: vehicle information (brand, model, plate number) and the documents needed to validate a driver account (e.g. driving licence).

1.3 Trip and app activity data

Trip history (pickup, destination, date, time, price, status), ratings and reviews, and in-app chat messages exchanged between a passenger and a driver about a trip.

1.4 Device and diagnostic data

Push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), device model and OS version, and crash or performance logs, used to keep the service working.

We do not use an advertising ID, do not show ads, and do not sell your data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• to create and authenticate your account;
• to match passengers with available drivers and operate rides (see section 1.1);
• to send notifications about your trips and your account;
• to provide customer support, ensure safety and prevent fraud;
• to maintain and improve the apps and meet our legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

• Between the passenger and the driver of a trip: the passenger sees the driver's first name, photo, vehicle and live location while a ride is requested or in progress. The driver sees the passenger's first name and pickup and destination locations.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf:
  • Google Firebase (authentication, push notifications, chat storage). See the Firebase Privacy page;
  • Google Maps Platform (maps, routes, address search). See the Google Privacy Policy;
  • our hosting provider, for the Moov Services servers that store account and trip data.
• Authorities, when required by law.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

4. Data Security

All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to our servers and databases is restricted to authorised staff.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. Trip records, including trip locations, are kept for as long as accounting and legal obligations require and are then deleted. The Driver App sends live position updates only to maintain the driver's current position; they are not kept as a history.

You can delete your account from within the app or by emailing administration@moovservices.com. Your personal data is then deleted, except for data we must keep by law.

6. Your Rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, by contacting us at the address below. You can withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings.

7. Children

The apps are not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will post any update on this page and change the "Last updated" date.
